ABOUT US

We are a congregation of people from various walks of life, all ages and many interests. We are a congregation seeking to worship after the pattern set forth in the scriptures. We have no head but Christ, are overseen by elders meeting scriptural qualifications and served by deacons who lead in many works and ministries undertaken by our congregation. We are a congregation which has a great desire for greater knowledge of the word of God and in which the study of the Bible is encouraged in numerous ways.

When you visit us, we encourage you to stay around for a little while after bible classes and worship assembly so that we can meet you.

Elder

Mike Brittain

Mike Brittain has served as Elder at Lakeview church of Christ since 2017. He cares deeply for those in the flock and faithfully leads them towards greater involvement in various ministries. He and his wife Debi Brittain have been married for 54 years and have 4 children. They love seeing God work through the church family to reach the community

Elder

Greg White

Greg White has served Lakeview church of Christ as Deacon from 2010 until his installation as Elder in 2017. He has the heart of a shepherd and guides the church through faithful prayer, leadership and teaches Sunday School. He and his wife, Pam White, have been married for 41 years and have 4 children. Together, they love seeing lives transformed by the gospel.

Jay Smith

Jay Smith joined the Lakeview church of Christ ministry team in 2016 and serves as Youth Minister, Worship Leader and as Deacon since 2025. He has a passion for guiding our youth through their growing faith and for praising God. Jay and Carrie Smith have been married for 25 years and have 3 children. They are grateful to call Lakeview home.

Brad Davison

Preaching Minister

Brad Davison began preaching at Lakeview church of Christ in 2019 and he completed his Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry from the Oklahoma Christian Graduate School of Theology in 2020. His goal is to preach the Gospel each week and ensure the members are edified by the message. Brad and Ashleigh Davison have been married since 2003 and they have two children.

Join us for a soul-refreshing worship experience with uplifting music, inspiring messages, and a warm community. Everyone is invited to come together and connect with God.

Wednesday Bible Study and Meal

Every Wednesday 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Engage in an enriching study of the Bible with fellow believers. Dive deep into the scriptures and grow in your understanding of God's word and His love for humanity. Afterwards, stay and enjoy a free meal with us.

Annual Coat Drive and Thanksgiving Boxes

November 16th

This year we are partnering with Legacy Parenting in Shawnee for the coat drive. You may either bring a coat of any size (infant through adult) or you may donate toward the cost of coats and shopping will be done for you. We plan to put together 15 complete Thanksgiving meals to be given to families in the Bethel area who could use a little extra help. Please call Pam or Ashleigh with questions

Robber's Cave Trip

Sunday, November 9th

Several members of Lakeview had a great trip to Robbers Cave State Park near Wilburton, OK! Lots of hiking, fellowship and fall foliage.

How Do I Become a Follower of Christ?

Romans 3:23

You believe that everyone is guilty of sin, including you

You confess that Jesus Christ is God’s only son, that He paid the penalty for your sin by His perfect life and death on the cross, and that He made it possible for you to have new life through his resurrection.

You are ready to give your life to Jesus Christ by: accepting His free forgiveness, repenting of past and present wrongs, being baptized by immersion into Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.
